In Jeremiah 29:11 we see a powerful promise:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.”

The word translated as prosper is the Hebrew word shalom — a word that encapsulated a reality and hope of wholeness for the individual and the world.

God has plans to make you whole, but in order to experience wholeness, we have to confront and deal with the brokenness in our lives.Click To Tweet
