In 2002, I answered the call of God to return to my alma mater and pioneer a college ministry that drew students back to Christ,developed a passion within them, and equipped them to impact their campuses, workplaces and the world for Christ. It has been my heart beat and passion for the past 10 years.After my first mission trip to Europe in 2006, losing my job in 2008 and seeing Ignite grow beyond just Monmouth College in 2011, God has been stirring me to take the next step in the journey: devote myself full time to the work of impacting youth, young adults and university students. Ignite is growing faster than I can handle part-time and will require extended periods of travel that I cannot do while working.

What this will look like:

As a self-supported missionary, I will be responsible to raise my own personal financial support to do the work of impacting youth, young adults and university students around the world for Christ. It is a huge step of faith to rely on the donations of others to do the work God has called me to, but I believe it will free me up to grow Ignite Student Ministries to the next level.

My duties will include:

• Traveling to meet with church leaders, students and college officials
• Developing strategy to launch Ignite groups at other schools
• Training church leaders and students how to effectively reach their college campuses
• Traveling to Europe 3-4 times a year at one-month intervals to develop our European branch
• Writing training manuals, devotions, and resources
• Hosting training conferences and retreats
• Developing staff and volunteer teams

In order to effectively minister in the West Central Illinois area, as well as expand Ignite throughout Central and Eastern Europe, I need to raise $3,000 a month to cover living expenses and self-employment taxes (30% of any income) and $1500 a month to cover travel expenses.

I am looking for partners who believe in and are willing to support the work of Ignite Student Ministries in raising up students and the church to impact youth, young adults and university students for Christ.

Prayer: I need individuals and churches who will commit to praying for the work I am doing with Ignite Student Ministries. You can sign up for our monthly partner newsletter to receive prayer requests each month.

Monthly donations: As little as $25 a month can make a huge difference in my support. This commitment would be for 12, 24 or 36 months, or the duration of my time with Ignite Student Ministries.

Special gifts: These can be given at any time and will be used to supplement monthly income.
